Westwood Home and School would like to welcome you to the 2011/12 school year.

We are looking forward to working with you throughout the year. Our goal this year is to increase parent engagement through our parenting sessions and fundraising activities.

After discussion with teachers, administration and parents we have decided to focus our fundraising efforts on:
  • A literacy library with resources for staff and students
  • Enhancing teaching practices through technology (for example iPads)

Our fundraising activities for the year include:
  • Epicure Cheese Dip Fundraiser in October 2011
  • A Family Fair celebrating Westy’s 20th birthday in November 2011 including a silent auction and lots of fun kids activities.

We are looking for:
A parent representative from each class to help coordinate the silent auction for the Family Fair, volunteers for an organizing committee for the Family Fair and people to help count and fill the Epicure orders when they arrive in mid-October. Please contact us at WestwoodHSA@gmail.com
