Fundraising

To help support activities and equipment that are not normally included in school budgets, we do some fundraising throughout the year. This year, our money will go toward the music program, refurbishing the playground equipment and software to allow for on-line lunch orders.

Our fundraising activities for the year include:
  • A Regal Christmas Catalogue campaign in October and November
  • A Family Fair celebrating Westy’s birthday in November 2012 including a silent auction and lots of fun kids activities.

Ways to Engage at Westwood

  • Come to our Parent Engagement Sessions! It’s a great way to chat with school staff in relaxed atmosphere.
  • Help organize or work at Westy’s Birthday Party in November
  • Volunteer on Mondays to help with lunch orders
  • Pull some weeds three times a year at the school

As a parent at Westwood you are automatically a member of the Home and School Association. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, suggestions or ideas. We would really appreciate any help or input you have to offer. Thank you!
